    1. Brief

    Refreshing a Canadian staple with a west coast twist. 

    When the Juno Awards took place in Vancouver, British Columbia, we were commissioned to give the Canadian staple a west coast flare. How do you update a 50-year-old brand while maintaining the familiarity and integrity the entire country expects?  

    2. Solution

    Purposeful adaptation of design elements. Utilizing carefully curated imagery and subtle creative treatments of shapes and layered effects, we developed a strong west coast inspired concept that was applicable to print, video, signage and beyond. The primary visual of the natural coastline is an ideal canvas for typography which enabled strong cohesiveness to the brand.
